Sixth Floor Press is the publishing imprint of longtime New York City-based writer Ivan Klein.

Ivan’s previous works include a volume of selected poems (Alternatives to Silence) and a chapbook (Some Paintings by Koho & A Flower of my Own) on the work of sumi-e master Koho Yamamoto. Toward Melville, Ivan’s book of poems on the life and work of Herman Melville, was published in 2018; poems from that volume have recently been anthologized in After Moby Dick, from Spinner Publications. Ivan has been profiled in The Forward and published in numerous periodicals, including Leviathan, Urban Graffiti, and the Jewish Literary Journal.
